Welcome to the Courage to Success Podcast. Today we're talking about AI. AI in your business, how to use AI, what's the purpose of it. And why I wanted to record this episode is because AI it's getting known on a big scale. A lot of people have heard it and it is slowly coming into the mainstream usage where regular, you know, normal people are starting to use it.
And what I've noticed with business owners, there are two camps. One is against it. Doesn't like it. Don't want to participate it. Think it's wrong. It's harmful. It's dangerous. On the other side, people are excited, love to try it out, uh, are looking to save time and also wanting to give the work to the AI.
And my personal opinion with this, it's not one or the other, but it's a middle ground. And when we look at what are the concerns around it, so is AI there? Is AI here to replace you? It is not. You have specific skills. You have specific knowledge. And especially in the human industry. Like, coaching, therapy, hypnotherapy, leadership, we are leading team, we are working with humans.
Your humanness cannot be replaced. You are unique in that sense. And there are reasons why that is the case. Because it's not only about words. It's not about saying those words. We scan information on multiple layers. So it's not just the words that you're hearing. It's the sound and how they are delivered.
It's the way how we interpret things, how they have been said. You can say the same words, but they can have a different meaning in the way of how you say it. The other piece that you possess is energy. So your uniqueness. You transmit energy. We humans interact with energies. Whether we want to acknowledge it or not, it plays a huge factor in it.
And in those industries where humans interact with each other, you cannot be replaced. AI and the usage of AI is in its infant stages. I want you to think about when the World Wide Web started, where it started, you know, for me it started in the 90s, which is a while ago. And when you look back, how much it has grown, developed, shaped and enriched us in the way in how we communicate, how we consume information.
And it has created new industries and new ways of how do we connect today, how do we communicate with each other. When I look from personal experience and using, you know, on 1990s, 1996, 1997, that was the first time I was Using the World Wide Web and I don't know if you remember, but who, you know, if you don't, I'm going to take you through the process.
So to open up a web page, not your own, it wasn't, you know, was possible like it is today or, you know, wasn't that easy. It would take a lot of time before the page would load. So you would literally wait there. For a minute until a picture is loaded.
So the first page that I opened was from Sony music. I love music. So I wanted to see what is there, you know, What new music is there? And I was looking for different artists like Michael Jackson, you know, Mariah Carey, to see when a new album is coming out. And I know how excited I was sitting in front of the computer and waiting for the picture to load.
It took minutes until it fully load. And back then I was thinking like, Wow! Oh, isn't this amazing? So I have a similar experience, you know, when AI came into the scene and my approach, when something new comes along, I'm on one side, like a curious child, a playful child, like, okay, what is this? How does this work?
I want to know like, Oh, I want to play with this. I want to figure it out. Let's try it out. On the other side, I have a critical thinking and my rationale is then filtering, you know, what is the information that I want to give in and how much do I want to give in? And that's definitely, I would say, one of the most important pieces of the conversation with AI.
What is the information that you want to share and with which program? So there is a fear about. In the coaching world and in the coaching space and hypnotherapy space where people are afraid of AI and they're thinking that it's going to replace them. It's going to replace their service. And at first I didn't understand, like, how could people that work with humans then interact with humans?
It's the goal. And help people with their psyche, with their mind, with their understanding, with creating new ways of leading themselves, leading their life, leading their teams, leading their humanness and be afraid or be threatened by like a program. And I don't know if AI, like artificial intelligence is the right word to describe what AI is.
I don't have the right explanation. I don't have the specific terminology for it, but I wouldn't use the word intelligence. It's more about pattern recognition, using certain information. It's limited in its capacity and working with humans, it's an experience. It's about creating that space, creating the environment where people can work, where people can develop, where people can thrive.
And I don't see a way how an app can facilitate that same experience. Because there's so much more than the words. So, when you hear someone You see someone, you're forming an opinion, you are biased, you know, we are biased, we are matchmaking machines and, you know, our mind is processing constantly on different levels and there are certain aspects that AI will never be able to do it.
So the conversation that I want to. have today about, is about how can it support you. Remove, you know, remove from the desk of options of, it's there to replace me and introduce how can it help me to support my cause? Cause the one thing that I know that you do, you love the work you do. If you wouldn't love humans, if you don't love human communication, you wouldn't be in that field.
That's it. I think it's very simple and clear. So embrace it. The big opportunity where I see is enhancing the work that you do. So what do I mean specifically with that? So if we look at the options, how can AI help you in your business? There are elements of the business that you don't enjoy. So if we say, you know, working in your business, like working with clients you love, and you would love to do that all day, and it fills you up.
And the other element of working on your business, it's rather difficult, tedious, you don't have much joy in it, but you, you do it. And specifically about marketing, AI is a great opportunity and it can enhance and simplify your marketing strategy or marketing output. And there are different tools for different things that can help you with that.
And even if you don't know what it is, you can just use, you can research. You can use chat GPT or Gemini and say, okay, I don't like to do X, Y, and Z in my business. How can AI help me with that? You don't need to know. everything or, you know, give me five recommendations for different apps or softwares that I could use that would help me, you know, reduce time, simplify things, and I will give you a response.
But don't ignore it. Don't ignore it. The opportunity lies in using it to work for you, not against you. And working for you It looks like I'll give you an example. I'll give you a personal example. So about this podcast. So I record the podcast. I record the content. I think about what do I want to talk about and then I record it, but we all know, or if you don't know, the work hasn't ended with just recording the content, there was work that happens afterwards and that takes.
Much more time than recording. So I was looking at things. How can I create a system that can help me be the creative force of the content and give other pieces or create systems for other pieces like marketing. I use a program to edit it. And I've taught my assistant to edit the podcasts for me now. So that creates more time for me that I can spend being creative, being in my zone of genius.
I can do the editing piece of it, and I can do other pieces of it, like, you know, creating a promotional post or creating other elements of the marketing or, you know, creating a design. But it's not something that I want to spend my time with, so I create the content and I use a program to help me with the rest or, you know, and my assistant to help me put it into certain programs that helps me to distribute it.
And that's the recommendation that I want to give you. So if you look at your work, what is the work that you enjoy? What's the work that you don't enjoy? It doesn't matter why you don't enjoy it. Okay. It's about creating simply a clearer system for you to get the outcome. If you love working in your business, okay.
Focus on working on your business. If you love working with clients, but don't like to market yourself, I would highly recommend. to look into AI and help you with certain aspects. I'm not talking about, you know, typing into, I don't know, chat GPT or Gemini. I'm lazy. I hate marketing, um, creates, I don't know, 15 marketing pieces for me.
I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about strategically using it. So It could be you're working with a client and you think, wow, how I've said that, that was amazing. Well, that's something that I need to write an article about or write a blog post or record a little video or just a reflection. And how many times have we had that, but we have forgotten it.
So you could record after the coaching call yourself and give yourself a reminder, a prompt. And I was. Having a conversation with a client, we talked about that. What I found was really interesting is this. And I need to share, and I want to share that with my audience. And that's it. So you create a bank of ideas for yourself.
A bank of reminders. Because, let's be honest, how often have we forgotten something? We had a great idea, an amazing idea. But As we swipe on our phone, our mind swipes the next thought and the next thought and the next thought. And this is just one way in how you can help yourself. So I want you to ask yourself, if you could do something, but don't have time to do it, what is that for you?
And then looking at opportunities, what are programs, some apps that you can use? You, if you don't have an assistant, what type of systems, what is the thing that's constantly getting under the radar? What's the thing that you're constantly pushing in front of you? What's the thing that you're putting under the rug?
Look at that. Take that as an opportunity. Take that as a chance to simplify so that you have more room to be creative so that you have more space. To be in your zone of genius. Human. But use it to distribute it. That's it. Not replace yourself. Not record your voice and let AI be your voice and then create a hundred pieces.
Not talking about that. I'm talking about using it in your editing. Using it in your scheduling. Using it to simplify it. Certain tasks. My prediction, you haven't. Where? This is not what I'm doing. I love creating. Leave some of that in. Leave it in. I love leaving mistakes. There is a mistake. You have made a mistake.
Yes, I have. Yeah. And what is it about? It's the courage to allow yourself to excuse. Okay. Okay. So the future of coaching and business in an AI driven world, this is what I see. We will get a lot of generic content, people like recording a snippet of their own voice and then letting AI to clone that voice and then to create something.
I'm not talking about that, you know, when, especially in the relationship. When we are building a relationship with humans, how do you be human on the internet today? Is when you show up is you. So I'm asking you not to polish everything, you know, not to use these filters of yourself. Leave yourself, you know.
Let people see that you are human, let people see that you are in a normal environment. What is a normal environment? You know, this, this is a normal environment. I'm doing it specifically because I want people to see that I am a human, that I'm using my hands when I speak. I make a mistake in the sense of I lose a train of thought.
And I'll come back. I'll leave those little mistakes. Don't edit everything. Don't edit yourself out. Don't edit the human element of you. Because how people build trust in other humans is when they recognize the humanness. So when they recognize, when you evoke an emotion, when you evoke something that tells them.
Hey, this is my person. And you have elements. I work with a lot of people that are afraid to be on camera, that are afraid to showing themselves, that are afraid of sharing their opinion. So I'm not telling you to bear it all out, but there are certain elements of your personality that are uniquely you.
So let's go into that. Let's use that to enhance and position your brand, your personal brand. Because people buy from people. And how to be successful in this digital age is when you use your humanness and bring it into your content, bring it into your delivery. The evolution of business was always trust, connection, and humanness, but especially in this digital age, it's more important than ever.
So leave those mistakes, show up in a moment of how you show up because people will work with you. They won't work with an avatar and trust building requires more of a human approach. And when other people see you as you or see certain things that represents they can tell or differentiate from the perfectly curated, you know, picture of yourself to being you in action, you working, that will be a decision of why they buy.
Because they want to work with the human, they don't want to work with a program. And I want you to embrace, to call in, wake up your humanness. Your humanness is the number one selling reason of why you are, of why people will pick you. This differentiator. And I want you to ask and look into yourself, so what makes you, you?
What are those things that your friends love about you? How would your friend describe you? How do you get mad? When do you get sad? How do you get happy? So I'm looking at not using those moments, but it's using that emotional state that it puts you in and come from that angle and share something. Might be not the perfect photo.
It might be A mistake, it might be something where you stumble over your own words, it might be not being all of the time 100%, but allowing for the moments of the humanness. We all have them. So what are those things that you could try out and incorporate in your business? The role of AI. Is I want you to think about as a partner, not as a replacement, nothing can replace you and no one can replace your services because the thing that you do is highly creative and it's the empathy, creativeness, the humanness and the courage that will drive.
So imagine how can AI help you with data analysis? Depending on the data that you want to analyze, right? How it can help you with capturing ideas that you have. What is the process, how it can help you create something. So it might be you speaking it, you recording into it, and then working quicker into creating the piece of content.
But one thing, there's only one you. You are unique. Especially your unique perspective and your own perspective changes as you develop and grow. So there is no way for AI to be you. It can help you with certain things, but not replace you. I want you to really think about the emotional capacity, the emotional intelligence, not only in the words, but in the presence.
When are those moments where you don't say nothing at all? Or you witness your client in that moment. You witness that humanness. You witness the pain, the anger, the happiness. That's something that AI can not do. So that's you. And your human inside remains unmatched. You not only have a mind, you have a heart.
And you feel the heart, how your heart is resonating. There is information being exchanged. Why does somebody else feel something? You have energy. Whether you see it or not, you have energy. The challenge of today is not about fighting AI, but looking at ways to collaborate with it. Using for things that you think and know is important to you.
I know that you are ethical. I know that you care. So don't be afraid, allow it to create mental space so that you can be more creative, more views for your clients, for yourself, and to innovate and develop yourself even more and create deeper clients relationships. And if you need help with deciding what is best for you, you need a thinking partner how to use it, when to use it in your business, give me a call.
